PREGNANCY
Expectant moms have more comfortable pregnancies and easier
births with Chiropractic.
PRENATAL
Are you looking for natural and supportive care to have the best pregnancy experience for your body? We believe that health comes from the inside out.
Chiropractic care can be an essential part of a happy healthy pregnancy and creating the birth experience you desire to have. During pregnancy a woman’s body undergoes many changes physically, chemically (hormones), and emotionally. Chiropractic can support those changes and help make pregnancy more comfortable, more enjoyable, and prepare the body for an easier, safer birth.
Prenatal Chiropractic care may help with:
Maintaining a healthier, more comfortable pregnancy • Helping to control symptoms of nausea • Reducing the time of labor and delivery • Relieving back, neck, hip and joint pain • Preventing a potential cesarean section

Prenatal chiropractic care not only has many benefits for mom but is vital to supporting the health of baby too.
Did you know that the environment of baby (which is mom) not only determines the growth and development of baby, but has the ability to effect epigenetic expression that can determine how genes are expressed later in life? This is why we are so passionate about clearing interferences in moms nervous system for the highest expression of life. We focus on providing individualized care so that moms physical, nutritional and emotional well-being are in harmonious balance for the best possible outcome for both mom and baby.
LABOR PREPARATION
The intensity and duration of labor can markedly decrease when the joints of your pelvis and surrounding soft tissues function in a healthy manner.
An unbalanced pelvis can lead to prolonged and painful labor and delivery. What many people don’t know is that you do not always feel pain when your pelvis is out of balance-that is, until you try to give birth to a baby. So for women who feel great but would like to further prepare their bodies for labor and delivery, prenatal chiropractic care is a wise choice. By relaxing the soft tissues of your pelvis, releasing ligament tension and ensuring the proper function of your joints, prenatal chiropractic care can prepare your pelvis so baby can make a smooth journey into the world.

BREECH PRESENTATION
By about 32 weeks, most babies have turned head down into a vertex position in preparation for birth. If your little one has yet to make the big flip you will be happy to learn that in many cases prenatal chiropractic care can help.
When the ligaments that support the uterus within the pelvis are out of balance or in spasm, intrauterine constraint can occur. This is a common cause of malpositioned babies that can be addressed by a prenatal chiropractor. The Webster Technique is a chiropractic method that is utilized by trained prenatal chiropractors to align the pelvis and reduce intrauterine constraint. This technique involves the relaxation of any spasming ligaments so that symmetry within the pelvis (muscles, ligaments and bones that support the uterus) as well as proper joint motion can resume. This will provide maximum space in the uterus for baby and will encourage proper positioning for birth. Research has shown the Webster Technique gives the majority of breech babies the space they need to turn down on their own. Since your baby is growing rapidly during these last weeks of pregnancy it is important to seek a prenatal chiropractor as soon as you learn your baby is in a breech, transverse or posterior position.

“I had a transverse breech baby at 34 weeks. During my pregnancy, I developed a sharp pain in my round ligament, on the right side. After I left Dr. Nateja’s office that first time, I felt the baby kicking at the top of my belly. It was amazing. At the next appointment with my OB, he confirmed that my baby was in the head down position.”
